This is such a great song. First time i heard SIT DOWN was on the ferry to Ireland in the summer of 1991 when i went hitchhiking over there with a roommate. It became more or less the soundtrack to our holiday. The single had first come out already in 1989 but it didn't do anything over here in Holland, so that's why it was new to me i guess. Or maybe it was not even a big hit in the UK during that year either. But in 1991, you just couldn't escape it over there on the islands. You literally heard it everywhere.
I checked some other things JAMES did in later years but i must say it didn't do much to me. But this song, those lyrics... just awesome.
